The first thing to do is to make absolutely sure, that you have closed the drain of your sink. This is done by safety reasons, that don’t need to be explained. Fill your sink with hot water and put your diamond ring inside. You will also be needing a small dish, something like a contact lens container and a window cleaner.

Take your ring from the sink and put it in the small dish, filled with window cleaner. Let it stay there for about 15 minutes. You can use an old toothbrush to scrub your ring with. Do it gentle, but thoroughly for a couple of minutes.
